Design for Legacy works on the intersection between the built environment, global politics, and local communities. We seek to design innovative models to address conflict, give voice to the local population, and enhance the importance of legacy.

Design for Legacy is based on an ongoing conversation and collaboration with the Dutch Ministries of Foreign Affairs, Defence and Development.
Together we study the presence and impact of UN operations in the Sahel.
We develop a conceptual design for the future UN peacekeeping compound while using Camp Castor in Mali as a case study. We promote policy change at the UN and other institutions.

Design for Legacy is supported by Het Nieuwe Instituut , Creative Industries Fund NL and FAST - The Foundation for Achieving Seamless Territory.

Design for Legacy is based in NYC (USA) and Amsterdam (NL).
